What to ask

1. What will next year's admission criteria be, and how much do the entrance test and primary school grades count?
2. How many pupils did you admit in round 1 last year, and how many listed you as first choice? Will the number of places stay the same?
3. Do you run preparation courses or mock entrance tests? When, and what do they cost?
4. How does practical training work – where, how many days a week, and with which companies?
5. Which subjects make up the school-leaving exam (or final exam), and how do pupils usually do?
6. Which languages are taught, from what level and for how many hours a week?
7. Does the school have a boarding house or partner with one? What does it cost, how do you apply and how do pupils commute?
8. What do school lunches cost, and what other costs are there (equipment, work clothes, courses, trips)?
