Who processes your data

What we know about you and why
Without an account the whole site works: the catalogue, dates, comparison, chances, costs and What fits me?. Your choices (focus, interests, test results, budget, home town, options in the comparison) are stored only in your browser (a cookie or local storage). They never reach us.
With an account we process:

We don’t ask for your personal identification number or school grades. You don’t have to enter your address: a municipality or street is enough (in a big city, a street, district or stop for travel times); an address or map point only makes the walk to the stop more precise. While you type, your browser suggests places from the lists of the whole municipality it downloads from us. We use the place only for the home town in costs and for travel times: your browser downloads precomputed times (and, when you search for an address, the address list) for the whole municipality or city district and computes the time itself, so requests for travel data carry only the municipality or district. Only what you save in the profile reaches the server. It is never sent to analytics or put into page addresses, sharing links don’t show it, and you can delete it in the profile any time (it is also deleted with the profile or account). Test results and notes are seen only by people you have shared the profile with. A sharing link shows notes only if you explicitly allow it when creating the link; it never shows test results.
The sign-in e-mail contains the code and a button that passes the code only to your browser, in the part of the address after the # sign; that part is never sent to the server or to analytics. The e-mail has no tracking images or redirected links.
Error reports: the report text, the page address and, optionally, an e-mail. We delete the e-mail once the report is resolved.
Analytics and errors
- Visits are measured with our own tool on our own infrastructure: it counts visits without cookies and without identifying people, and processes only technical request data. We strip tokens of sharing links and invitations, query parameters and the part after the # sign from addresses. We respect the browser’s Do Not Track setting. - Application errors are recorded with our own tool on our own infrastructure, without personal data (no IP address, cookies, headers or form contents).
We use no advertising or tracking cookies, so we show no consent banner.

Who works with the data for us (processors)
- hosting: a virtual private server (VPS) from netcup GmbH, Germany,
- e-mails (sign-in codes, invitations): the ZeptoMail service by Zoho, EU data centre,
- database backups: external cloud storage holding daily backups.
We don’t sell data or pass it on for marketing.
How long we keep data
As long as you have an account. Deleting the account (Profile → Delete account) deletes your e-mail and the profiles only you own; from shared profiles only your access disappears. Backups are overwritten within 7 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and to object. You can do most of this yourself in your Profile; otherwise contact us (see above). You can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
Users under 15
The site is mainly intended for primary and secondary school pupils and their parents. The account does not rely on consent; it is created to provide the service. If you are under 15, set up the account together with a parent.
