Schools & map

The school’s registered region in the Ministry register; for a foreign school, the seat of its legal entity.

Private, church and alternative primary schools (also as part of a secondary school) with a verified year 1 per the school website. Public catchment schools are not included. Foreign schools teach another country’s curriculum outside the Czech system; children attend them with a Ministry permit.

How the school selects future first-graders, per its website; pick several (any one matches). Schools that do not state it (227) are hidden once you pick; that does not mean they admit without selection.

The school runs its own nursery (from its name or website). Schools without this information are hidden once you pick.

The approach the school states (Montessori, Waldorf, Scio…) for years 1–5, otherwise for the whole school. Schools without a stated approach are hidden once you pick.

As the school itself describes teaching (bilingual, some lessons in English…); we do not estimate the share of English. An international programme is the school’s claim unless the school page says it is verified in the official list.

The cap uses only documented annual tuition for a given school year. Schools with an undated price list, a monthly fee without the number of payments, or no price list are hidden once you pick; the school page still shows its price list.
